Planning all the details well in advance is essential for having a happy vacation.  However, planning for a trip is not the most enjoyable part of a vacation.

Travel planning involves

1. hours and hours of searching for airfare
2.  arranging transportation 
3. arranging accommodations
4. packing.

 And if you are not  a regular traveler, and do not spend time planning travel regularly, it could take you even longer.

There are many periodicals available for travelers. 

Hundreds of magazines are published every month – sometimes even twice a month – offering all sorts of information about your favorite vacation spots and the general topic of travel and leisure.
